Players Discuss What is Worth Spending Money On in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves the shorekeeper

Wuthering Waves is a free-to-play game, which means it relies on players spending money on in-game purchases to make some revenue. Additionally, It is classified as a gacha game, meaning that players spend in-game resources for a chance to “pull” out their desired character or item. The resource in question is Astrite, which you can find during your adventures, by completing daily quests and more. Unsurprisingly Kuro offers you some Astrite for sale, costing real money. Speaking of sales, is Astrite the best thing you can spend your money on, or is there something better? Wuthering Waves players gathered up and discussed what is the most cost-effective way of spending their money in the game.

What Is a Must Buy in Wuthering Waves?

You only have a couple of options in Wuthering Waves for spending real money. You can purchase Lunite directly (which turns into Astrite, pretty straightforward, starting from $0.99 and going all the way to $99.99), there is a Battle Pass (granting you Astrite and various other resources for $9.99 or $19.99), and a monthly Lunite Subscription (giving you Astrite every day, for just $4.99).

One player, named TheNotSoBadProf on Reddit, started a conversion, asking what is a “must buy” in WuWa. ”What did you buy and is there anything you would consider a “must buy” or bad value? I decided to buy the pioneer radio battle pass thing to get more materials and support Kuro, and have found it useful.”

As an answer, almost everyone agrees that the monthly Subscription is the best, most cost-effective option. “I only bought monthly, at least I can support Kuro after everything they did to improve the game.” said Luciferion4679, “Monthly pass for me. Just to help with pulling currency. Everything else I just farm for it,” said neosixth, and “If you want minimal spending, Lunite sub is the most worth it thing to buy.” added byokero, to name a few.

The consensus is that the monthly Lunar Subscription is the best option for spending your money in Wuthering Waves. The second-best option is the Battle Pass. It does give you some Astrite, but requires way more investment, is more expensive, and you can also get some materials that you don’t need. The direct Lunite/Astrite purchase is the least appealing option. The silver lining is that the first time you purchase a certain Lunite bundle, you will get double the amount for the same price. But, compared to the monthly subscription and the amount of Astrite it gives, the direct purchase is way too expensive.
