New Jiyan Video Is an ASMR Dream for Wuthering Waves Fans

The best part of Wuthering Waves is the fleshed-out characters that you can get. Until recently, everything was all about the new Resonator – The Shorekeeper. This enigmatic character captured the hearts and minds of all players and everyone tried to “pull” her as soon as possible (she’s a powerful 5-star Resonator, after all). But today, the focus shifts to a more down-to-earth character. A limited-time event where the drop rate for Jiyan is boosted brings this character to the fore. To top it all off, Kuro posted a video with Jiyan that is like a pleasant ASMR dream for all Wuthering Waves fans.

Wuthering Waves New Video “Midnight Podcast – Jiyan” Is an ASMR Treat

A new event is about to start in WuWa. From October 24 to November 13, the second instance of Previal the Lasting Light will be active, resulting in an increased drop rate for Jiyan (5-Star Resonator), and Youhu, Sanhua, and Mortefi (all 4-Star Resonators).

To announce the event properly, Kuro released a short video on their X page, where Jiyan invites you as a special guest to attend the commemoration in Knell Square, a part of the new initiation for Midnight Rangers. He proceeds to talk about his past as an army medic when he decided to focus on the source of the problem, not on the consequences, resulting in him becoming a Midnight Ranger.

This was all very well done by the voice actor Alex Jordan, and the combination of his acting and the soothing background music turned this video into a real treat. Naturally, the fans went crazy. You can see praises like “ALEX AMSR content! Finally” from Narushioww, “I like the en voice too so relaxing voice to hear” from rappudao, and “holy [moly] the jiyan asmr is real” from anxientdesu. A voice cast can make or break a game, and it’s a good thing that Kuro have done their homework and hired some very talented people.
