The next update for Wuthering Waves is right around the corner. It is titled “To the Shore’s End” and the downtime, during which the update will be implemented, will begin on September 29 at 04:00 (UTC+8) and end on September 29 at 11:00 (UTC+8). It also requires quite a bit of storage space, 30 GB on PC and 16 GB if you’re playing on Android or iOS.
But, we will get new characters, like Shorekeeper and Youhu, and new weapons, events, main story quests, and more. But, on top of all that, Kuro will release a couple of events to ease the leveling process.
“Since the “Converging Paths” event’s release, we have received your complaints about the sudden increase in resource requirements after unlocking Resonator Xiangli Yao and its added strain. Alongside the events already announced, we’ll add three leveling events—two brand-new and one rerun.”
Parade of Stars – A New Special Leveling Event
According to Kuro, this event will feature 4 different types of tasks: Resonator Leveling, Weapon Leveling, Echo Leveling, and Skill Leveling. It begins as soon as the Version 1.3 update goes live and lasts until November 13, at 15:59 (server time).
During the event, you will be able to get the following rewards: 710,000 Shell Credits, 100 Premium Tuners, 50 Premium Sealed Tubes, 50 Premium Resonance Potions, 34 Premium Energy Cores, 25 Forgery Premium Supplies, 28 Premium Enclosure Tanks, and “other development materials”.
Forgery Premium Supplies grants you a choice of Heterized Metallic Drip, Flawless Phlogiston, Presto Helix, Waveworn Residue 239, and Cadence Blossom. On the same note, Premium Enclosure Tanks grant you a choice of Tailored Ring, FF Whisperin Core, and FF Howler Core
The Black Shores Wuthering Exploration – A New Featured Exploration Event
For this event, Kuro says that we will Complete Survey Tasks daily to get Survey Points and claim rewards after meeting Survey Point requirements. The rewards in question are 2,000,000, Shell Credits, 30 Tailored Rings, 30 FF Whisperin Cores, and 30 FF Howler Cores. The event will start on October 10, at 10:00, and last until October 24, at 03:59 (server time).
Mt. Firmament Wuthering Exploration – A Rerun of a Previous Exploration Event
Same as with the aforementioned Exploration event, you will complete Survey Tasks daily to get Survey Points and claim rewards after meeting Survey Point requirements. The rerun event begins on October 31 at 10:00 and ends on November 13, at 03:59 (server time). During this event, you will be able to collect the following rewards: 800 Astrite, one Malleable Elite Class Echo I, one Malleable Elite Class Echo II, 100 Premium Tuners, and 30 Premium Sealed Tubes.
These events were announced since the players noticed a “sudden increase in resource requirements”, which only serves to prove that Kuro truly cares about their playerbase.
