Some time ago, Kuro announced that a special Moon-Chasing Festival event was coming our way. Recently, they revealed that Xiangli Yao will be available as a reward for participating in an event, earning themselves a popularity boost with the fans. A five-star character for free? Count me in! And now, we finally have some details concerning that festival and what are the numerous activities available there.
Moon-Chasing Festival is Revealed
The event, titled “By Moon’s Grace”, will go live with the 1.2 Update and will last until September 28. To be eligible to participate in the event you have to reach Union Level 17 and complete Main Quest Chapter 1 Act 3 “Ominous Star”.
The event itself has a wonderful in-game description: “The Moon-Chasing Festival is a Huanglong traditional festival that features various origin stories, with the most popular being the tale of The Fox and the Moon. On this special night, families and friends come together to admire the moon and make wishes, expressing their hopes for a brighter future.”
Get Ready For Some Awesome Rewards
The rewards for participating in the event are awesome. As per the official statement, you’ll get 1200 Astrite, Premium Sealed Tube, Premium Resonance Potion, Premium Tuner, Shell Credit, and “other development material”.
But, the main question everyone is asking is: “How can we get Xiangli?”
How to Get Xiangli Yao?
Kuro did not give us very detailed instructions, but at least we have a general idea. To get Xiangli you need to accumulate enough Popularity points. Popularity is earned by spending Funds to build “Fair Stalls” and completing “Wishes” (both special event-only features) during the event.
Once you get enough Popularity, you can visit the Converging Paths panel (open from September 7 to September 28) and claim your free Xiangli Yao. The exact number of those Populatiry “points” is currently unknown.
As you’d expect, a free 5-star Resonator is welcomed by all. User Lunamoo71330902 said: “they’re giving us five star characters pretty much for free I play a bunch of other gotcha games that don’t even do a tenth of what they’ve done”. This event will definitely be one of the best WuWe ever had, and we can’t wait for the official release.
