How To Cure Burns In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty?

warrior using fire attack weapon in wo long fallen dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has a rather complex combat system where you can inflict or get inflicted with Status Effects that are designed to hinder one’s fighting ability. One such effect is Burn, which will keep decreasing your health over time. If you’re wondering what you need to do to cure burns in the game, you’ve come to the right place.

How To Fix Burns Status Effect In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

To cure the Burn status, simply apply a Water Phase buff spell to yourself, which will immediately eliminate the status and any negative effects that come with it. You can also roll over to cure a Burn effect. To roll over, press O on PlayStation, B on Xbox, or F if you’re using a keyboard.

Bear in mind that if left uncured, a Burn status will reduce your resistance to Ice, which makes you vulnerable to freezing spells or ice weapons. You will also get a damage over time (DoT) effect that will considerably decrease your health if left unchecked.

How To Avoid Burns In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

While you can always use spells or items that give a Water Phase Buff to cure the Burn status, the smarter thing to do is to avoid any incoming attacks or spells that inflict Burn in the first place.

To avoid the Burn status, you should stay away from Flame-based weapons and spells. For instance, if you find yourself up against an enemy that uses fire against you, make sure to properly dodge their attacks to avoid getting inflicted.

Yet, of course, there is no guarantee that you’ll be able to dodge every attack that inflicts the Burn status. Thus, we recommend you accommodate some sort of Water Phase effect in your build the next time you get burned, making it easy for you to just walk it off.
