Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a popular action role-playing game that has been making waves in the gaming industry since its release. The game offers an immersive experience, with its unique combat system, intricate storyline, and captivating visuals.

Like any other game, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is not without its flaws, and the developers have been hard at work to fix the issues and enhance the gameplay. Regular patch updates are released to improve the game and fix lingering issues.

Below we’ll highlight all improvements in the newest patch update 1.05.

1.05 Patch notes for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Automatic Locked-on Target Switching

One of the most significant additions to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty in the 1.05 update is the ability to automatically switch locked-on targets upon deflecting or deflecting in response to critical blows. Players can enable this option in the game settings by selecting Switch Locked-on Target after Deflecting and Switch Locked-on Target after Deflecting a Critical Blow.

Switch to Nearest Enemy

Another useful addition is the ability to switch the locked-on target to the nearest enemy by pressing down the right stick. This feature can be enabled in the game settings by selecting Switch Locked-on Target to Nearest Enemy.

Camera Settings Enhancements

The developers have also added options to set the rotation and tracking speed for the lock-on camera. These options can be found in the camera settings under the Lock-on Camera page.

The patch notes also mention an option to enable or disable inertial movement when rotating the camera. This feature can be found in the camera settings under the Normal Camera page.

Reinforcements Menu Enhancements

The Reinforcements menu has also been modified to show warriors who have sworn oaths with the player but are not currently available as companions. It is now possible to gift Cups of Cordiality, and players can also part ways with companions by selecting a current companion in the Reinforcements menu rather than using a Willow Branch.

Improved Equipment Menus

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s equipment menus have been improved in the 1.05 update. Players can now check and select equipment set to Favorites, compare equipment in the Equipment menu, and see icons for their progress in collecting Shitieshou, Golden Cicada Shells, Tablets, Dragon Vein Essence, and Dragon Vein Crystals via the Travel menu. Check-mark icons have also been added to completed missions in the Travel menu.

Gameplay Adjustments

The Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty 1.05 patch notes mention several gameplay adjustments, including changes to drop rates, lock-on target selection criteria, and the level of difficulty for certain battles. For example, items from treasure chests containing equipment will now incur random loots (only when opening them for the second time onwards), and items with higher rarities are more likely to be dropped after the player defeats enemies with higher Morale Ranks than the player’s current Morale Rank.

Bug Fixes

Finally, the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty 1.05 update also includes various bug fixes, including fixes for crash-prone situations that occurred in certain environments, issues with multiplayer sessions, and other minor bugs. The developers have also fixed a bug that caused the player’s character to die if they removed equipment that had the special effect for HP on it when they were on the verge of death.

Those are all the new fixes in the 1.05 update for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
