Crime Boss: Rockay City promises to immerse players in a world of organized crime, with an expansive city to explore and a host of criminal activities. However, many of those anticipating the game’s release are wondering whether it will be a true open-world game experience with a fully realized city to explore and interact with or whether it will rely on a more traditional, linear game design.
Does Crime Boss: Rockay City Have an Open World?
Crime Boss: Rockay City will have many elements of an open-world game but it is not a true open-world experience many are hoping for. This was confirmed in an interview WCCFTech had with Damion Poiter, the actor who plays the role of Nasara, Baker’s trusted right-hand man.
Damion confirmed that though some missions will take place during the day and others at night, the game’s time frame stays largely static. This means that the game will not feature a day-night cycle. Instead, the game will progress through a predetermined number of days that align with the story and plot of the game, allowing players to experience the world and narrative in a more controlled and intentional way.
