Ragetail
The Ragetail, which resembles rat on steroids, is described as ‘a voracious eater and permanently hungry’. This is thought to be because of a fruit-like growth at the tip of its tail, which diverts nutrients.
Sapscourge
The Kohakunushi, or Sapscourge, has a distinctly woody appearance. Beware, it tends to sneeze pollen and sheds sap, which covers its prey.
Kingtusk
The lagest Kemono in the game and one of the most dangerous. It features multiple eyes so prey can’t slip away—though it tends to keep most of them shut, relying instead on its sense of smell.
Lavaback
Resembling a great ape, this Kemono is one of the most feared – mainly because of its volcanic body and huge power. Be warned.
Deathstalker
This Kemono hunts in packs and can conjure giant lumps of ice. Agile and surprisingly strong, hunters will have their work cut out to better this beast.
Amaterasu
Boasting a vast wingspan and a vivid, sun-soaked plumage, the Amaterasu is every bit of beautiful as it is deadly.
Goldshard
The Goldshard is is covered with exceptionally hard, protective spines, which – when it spots its prey, fire out of its back towards the target.
Spineglider
This flying Kemono generates rock from a liquid it secretes and is fiercely protective of this territory.
Earthbreakers
A fabled Kemono, Earthbreakers, ‘marched far and wide, carving valleys and forcing great peaks high into the sky’. A force of nature… literally.
Fumebeak
The Fumebeak bathes its prey in a toxic miasma, so proceed with caution.
Dreadclaw
These bid like Kemono lay fake eggs filled with a sleep-inducing smoke to stop egg thieves. You have been warned!
Emberplume
The Emberplume, which looks like a peacock, is said to ‘hail from a volcanic habitat far in the west where it scorched all around to ash’. Some profess its flames purge evil, others claim the opposite. Either way, it’s a truly deadly beast.
Gritdog
The Gritdog, which remiscent of a racoon splied with an otter, controls complex magnetic fields to manipulate ironsand into curious shapes that are found dotted across its territory.
Dreadclaw
The Dreadclaw’s din is so powerful that it can destroy old farmhouses – so better buy some ear plugs!
Sporetail
When the sporetail territory is threatened, the beasts can coordinate their attacks against intruders far more effectively than any other rodents. They will attack in numbers, so tread carefully and plan your attacks.
Kingtusk
Boasting a huge menacing physique and enormous tusks, the Kingtusk is a formidable foe and must be dealt with carefully.
Cobalt Lavback
Unlike the Lavaback, this guy tends to inhabit icy areas – where it creates searing hot springs in which it likes to soak.
Onyxshard
The Onyxshard can summon rock from the ground, causing the earth to quake at its might.
Venomglider
The Venomglider is a venomous cousin of the Spineglider whose body is festooned with what appears to be spider lilies. It trumps the Spineglider as it also has the ability to poison its prey.
Pearlbeak
Looks very similar to the Fumebeak but tends to live on the coast and feed on seafood.
And that’s all of them! Happy hunting.
