How To Get Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts Legacy
To get Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts Legacy is really straightforward. What you need to do is kill Inferi, the corpses of the dead animated by dark magic that are found in dungeons and the like around Hogwarts Legacy. And loot the Stench of the Dead from their corpse.
However, ensure you always have a fire spell equipped, or you’ll find getting them nigh improbable! Inferi are immune to all damage except fire, well, at first. So don’t use any other spells when facing these evil creatures until they are on fire. Always start with Incendio or Confringo, as fire makes Inferi vulnerable to all further damage. However, as soon as they stop being on fire, they’ll be immune to everything once again until you use fire.

Though later in the game, when you get more access to spells such as the Transformation spell. If you have points in transformation talent mastery, this turns enemies into explosive barrels, which can hurt Inferi by throwing them at them.
Once Inferi have been killed (again), they’ll mostly always drop a Stench of the Dead. But if you have the Galleons spare and only need a few, head over to J. Pippin’s Potions shop in Hogsmeade and purchase the limited supply.
Where To Find Inferi in Hogwarts Legacy?
The best place to find Inferi in Howarts Legacy is Inferi Dens, scattered around the map, though one can be found South of Keenbridge. However, you shouldn’t need to farm these, as Inferi shows up a lot during the main story and side missions pretty often. Just play the game, and you’ll have plenty!
