The immediate application means no prep is required, simply take the Battle Rage and go. The most useful aspect is the resistance to enemy tactical equipment.
You immediately disappear from Portable Radars, and become impervious to Suppression Mines. Use this to your advantage to flank your enemy and start picking off enemies individually.
