Vampire Survivors – How To Evolve Garlic

Main character fighting in Vampire Survivors

Want to know about how to evolve the Garlic in Vampire Survivors? Then you have come to the right place.

Vampire Survivors is a roguelite survival game where the goal is to survive against waves of enemies for 30 minutes. Creating an offensive barrier is key to making it far in the game, and garlic is one of the best starting weapons to have. Garlic can even be evolved into a better weapon, and this guide will show players how to evolve it.

What Is Garlic Evolution?

The evolution for Garlic is called the Soul Eater, and can be unlocked by combining the Garlic weapon and Pummarola passive item. Players will have to first get the two items during a run, upgrade both items to their max levels, and then defeat an elite enemy after 10 minutes. The elite enemy will drop a chest, and could be the Soul Eater weapon.

The Garlic weapon can be unlocked by eating five Floor Chicken, which can be earned in multiple runs, and the Pummarola passive item can be unlocked by surviving five minutes as the Gennaro Belpaese character.

What Does Garlic Do?

Garlic is the starting weapon for Poe Ratcho, though other characters can obtain it by leveling up and selecting it as long as there are available weapon slots. Garlic creates a barrier that is visualized by a few lines as a circle around the character.

Enemies that touch the barrier will be damaged by it, but it does not completely protect the player. Enemies can still reach the player through the barrier if it is not powerful enough.
