Sometimes you’ll say or do something expecting a particular reaction but the people around you will focus on a detail you casually mentioned. It’s almost impossible to predict how others react, as we’ve all had different life experiences. We suppose the person who posted the leaked new bundle didn’t expect it to trigger the Valorant players to revisit an old issue.
The Leaked Bundle Offers Some Visually Appealing Skins
On August 12, an account on X that specializes in Valorant leaks posted some exciting news for the devoted players and offered a possible first look at the new bundle. The post read. “Aperture Bundle. Weapons: 1,275VP. Melee: 2,550VP. Bundle Price: 5,100VP”.
These skins are admittedly quite cool and the entire bundle caters to a certain aesthetic that most of the players found pleasing. Some players praised the design and noted how they couldn’t wait for the bundle to drop.
Other players weren’t as kind with their words. Sure, not every bundle can be everyone’s cup of tea, but every community has some toxic players. It’s understandable that a player doesn’t like the new skins, but calling the entire bundle “hot garbage” or “trash” might be too much.
Valorant Players Insist the Bundle Will Only Contribute to the Current Issue
Let’s not forget about the Valorant issue that resurfaced due to this leaked bundle. Many players pointed out they wouldn’t buy the bundle because of its reported price. It’s commonly known that even though the designs are cool, the skins’ prices are quite steep.
With every new addition, players are reminded just how steep. If these prices prove to be true, the entire bundle will cost around 53 US dollars, which doesn’t make this the most expensive bundle so far, but will still make a small dent in your budget.
One player, bassnasher, noted: “Game companies have found out people are willing to pay the price of entire games for just a single cosmetic. So, they pump out overpriced garbage so whales can support the game for the majority that plays for free. At least there’s no gacha or loot box mechanics for just the chance to get the skin you want”.
Another player, vVIOL2T, reminded the community that they didn’t have to spend the money on the new skins. They said: “The game is free to play so they make all their money off of skins. It’s Riot’s go-to model for all their games because it worked so well with League and has continued to work til this day. If you’re against it just don’t spend money”.
Speaking from our own experience, sometimes it’s hard to resist buying some skins. If you want a little treat, without breaking the bank, you can usually find some free codes online. If you are unsure which skins to buy, you can always consult the Valorant community, they’ll gladly help.
