Riot Games seems to have a surprise for Valorant fans, but not all surprises remain hidden for long. In a recent turn of events, an in-game screenshot of the unreleased Valorant Agent, Iso, has been leaked.
Who is Iso?
As anticipation builds for the new character’s arrival, Riot Games has dropped a few breadcrumbs for fans to follow. Thus far, the developer has confirmed Iso as a Duelist. Moreover, in-game easter eggs – purple energy cells scattered across several maps – provide hints about his abilities. These mysterious energy cells align with what is rumored about Iso’s potential skills. Teasers unveiled on social media suggest his origins might trace back to either China or Singapore. Furthermore, his abilities might encompass a Chamber-like gun.
The recent leak has given fans a closer look at the upcoming Agent. Courtesy of a post by Valorant Leaks & News, players have a clearer idea of what Iso looks like in the character selection screen. His design is enshrined in purple energy patterns, which resonate with the in-game clues players have come across. Furthermore, Iso’s name aligns with previous reports from other leakers.
Surprisingly, the leaked image depicts the character wielding a knife, throwing a wrench into the existing theories about his capabilities.
When Can Players Expect Iso’s Arrival?
While the exact release date remains under wraps, if Riot Games follows last year’s Agent release cycle, fans can expect Iso to grace the live servers with the commencement of Episode 7 Act 3. Tentatively, this should coincide with a new patch slated for October 31.
Iso isn’t just another character but marks the seventh Duelist to join Valorant’s roster, following Neon’s introduction in early 2022. As the buzz continues, fans eagerly await the official reveal and release.
