The Outlast Trials is playable on different consoles, but is it on Xbox Game Pass? Let’s find out.
Red Barrels Inc. have released early access for The Outlast Trials in May 2023, and the official full release is right around the corner. Like its predecessors, the third installment is also a horror survival game, but this time you can play it cooperatively with some friends if you like. If not, the solo variant is always there. The game itself serves as a prequel to the previous games. The Outlast Trials is playable on PC, current-gen, and last-gen consoles, but is it playable over some of the subscription services, primarily on Xbox’s Game Pass? Let us see about that.
Is The Outlast Trials on Xbox Game Pass?
Sadly, no. At the moment of writing, there is no information regarding The Outlast Trials coming to Microsoft’s subscription service. The franchise’s previous installments were all on Game Pass at some point, so we can only presume that the third Outlast game will also be, at some point. When is that? We do not know.
Game Pass and The Outlast Trials Online Multiplayer
As usual, you need the Xbox Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to be able to play online multiplayer games on your Xbox console. This is also true for The Outlast Trials since it has a cooperative multiplayer option.
To summarize: The Outlast Trials is not on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service and there is no information on when or will it be there in the future (at the moment of writing). But you do need to be subscribed to Game Pass to be able to play The Outlast Trials online multiplayer mode.
