It was a matter of time before someone decided to combine two immensely popular games. Now, you can add a bit of Baldur’s Gate 3 to your Stardew Valley games via a new mod.

As we all know, Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most successful games ever. It is a well-thought-out RPG, using the ruleset of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition as its mechanics, a stellar voice cast for that sweet, sweet immersion, and a pretty cool story and awesome fights to keep the players engaged. Naturally, it spawned countless mods, ranging from simple cosmetic changes to whole new campaigns

On the other hand, Stardew Valley is the one of the best cozy farming sims that ever graced the world of gaming, made by one man, going by the name of Concerned Ape. It has a bunch of mods as well, like the one that turns all animals into Pokemons, one that adds a tractor to make your farming a bit easier, or any other way to enhance the overall game experience.

But, what if we combined these two games?

Naturally, the only way of making an already awesome game even better is to properly combine it with something equally awesome. And that is exactly what a team of dedicated players did.

On March 8, 2025, Xun and their team released Baldur’s Village, a mod for Stardew Valley that adds Baldur’s Gate 3 characters to the game, as well as new locations, shops, events, and more.

“A new village has recently been built north of Pelican Town, and its new residents seem… rather unusual.  You can find the entrance to Baldur’s Village at the top of the southern mountain map, right next to Linus’ tent.

Baldur’s Village is a large expansion mod for Stardew Valley, inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3. It introduces a brand-new village map and NPCs while staying true to the game’s original atmosphere. Among them, Astarion features a fully developed personal storyline and is available for marriage.”

You can get this mod from Nexus Mods on this link. And, of course, if you end up really liking the mod, you can support the creators by joining their Patreon. The mod is very fresh (barely two days old), and we expect to see more and more added to it in future updates, like more romanceable characters, events, and more.
