Besides being one of the better looter shooters out there, the First Descendant is a game full of controversy. The developers, Nexon, made a lot of, well, controversial decisions with their game that were not popular with the player base. Over time, many aspects of the game have been changed to benefit the players and honor their wishes, but some remain (like the infamous skin-painting mechanic). The players constantly ask questions on social media, hoping they will get official answers. Well, their questions may be answered.
The Devs Will Be Answering Your Questions
According to TFD’s official X page, the devs team behind the game will attend the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) and will join IGN’s livestream there, on September 29 at 14:00 JST / September 28 at 22:00 PDT. For a chance to have YOUR question featured and answered you just have to follow these simple steps:
- Go to the announcement post on The First Descendant Official page on X.
- Post your question in the comments with the hashtag #TheFirstDescendantTGS
And that’s it. With some luck, your question may be answered on the livestream.
The Fans Are Full of Questions
Naturally, the fans want to know everything. Unsurprisingly, the majority of questions are about the issues that have been plaguing the community since the beginning. For example, KnightOw7 asked: “Are you going to change/improve the paint system?”, Spring_27_ asked: “When will reactors be reworked?”, and AIgirls4u2 added a bunch: “1. auto sprint option 2. Photo mode 3. Achievement skins (very hard to get, less than 1% has) 4. When someone inspects you they can see your build instead of just rank.”
These questions were raised multiple times so we can almost guarantee that the devs will answer them. However, the fans are all irritated about the fact that Nexon is doing an interview with IGN, who gave them a 5/10 review score, criticizing various aspects of TFD (like the story or the grind). Is this a change of heart or something else?
