Black Friday is a phenomenon nowadays. It is the day after Thanksgiving Thursday in the US when stores offer considerable discounts and great deals. It spread like wildfire over the years, and now almost every shop, regardless of the type, offers some Black Friday deals. Unsurprisingly, the trend has spread overseas and what started in the US is now a worldwide phenomenon. And it is no surprise that the digital market caught on very fast, and digital stores offer great Black Friday deals as well.
Even the world of gaming is not safe, and many digital storefronts and games that earn revenue through in-game sales offer some kind of discount on Black Friday. However, for anything digital, the Cyber Monday is more popular. With less than a week until Black Friday, The First Descendant fans are wondering whether there will be a holiday sale in the game.
No Special Deals or Sales For Black Friday in The First Descendant
The existence of the official dev Q&A on Discord has worked wonders for the community. The fans can ask basically anything about the game and chances are that one of the devs will answer the question. One fan asked whether there was a plan for a sale or an event on Black Friday. Unfortunately, the devs had this to say:
“Sorry 🙁 We have no plan for Black Friday.”
Bad news indeed. We think it is safe to assume that there are no plans for Cyber Monday either. It looks like Nexon is dead-set on never lowering the Caliber prices or Skin costs in TFD. But, New Year’s and Lunar New Year are getting closer so there will be ample opportunities for Nexon to prove us wrong.
