Well, Arcane is the talk of the town these days. Whatever you may think of the second season (and the last three episodes), you can’t deny that it really is a work of art. We all grew to love many of the characters in the show (or hate them, that’s also fine) and you can see folks trying to recreate many of them, be it as cosplay or in various video games. On the last note, not even TFD is safe, as some fans are using the game’s (limited) customization system to recreate characters from the show. For example, the best one we found is turning Hailey from The First Descendant to look like Caitlyn from Arcane. Quite appropriate, no doubt about it.
How to Make Hailey Look Like Caitlyn from Arcane in The First Descendant
At the moment, The First Descendant has a bit of a limited customization system. You can mix and match Head and Body Skins (that you have unlocked), paint the outfits, dye the hair, and add makeup. Okay, that sounds like a lot, but you are limited to premade colors, accessories, and outfits.
Thankfully, that can be quite enough for some people. For example, one player, named Savage_Hamster_ on Reddit, shared how to look like Caitlyn Kiramman from Arcane (originally League of Legends, but the outfit is more faithful to the show than the game). For starters, you will need Hailey’s Sniper Squad Full Dress Uniform (both Head and Body). As for the colors, according to our research, the dyes that you need are:
- Body (applied from top to bottom)
- Clear Blue Black
- Bright Matte Gold
- Bright Matte Gold
- Real Matte Black
- Real Matte Black
- Clear Bright White
- Hat
- Clear Bright White
- Hair
- Regular Blue (Hair Dye)
The Fans Love It!
Naturally, the crowd goes wild. Some fans say that it’s the best cosplay in TFD so far (Powerpuff Girls would beg to differ), and we wholeheartedly agree. It is a wonder that all of the options and pieces of Hailey’s Dress Uniform perfectly align with Caitlyn’s outfit from the “raid” scene. You also get a ton of comments like “Oh….oh I am stealing this look 100%”, “Bravo! Very well done.”, or “Hell yeah looks damn good brother”.
One user puts it all together nicely, saying: “Creating a descendant to look this accurate to the original character takes a lot of time and work, its even harder to make it look more than 70% of the original character but you did. Very well done fellow reddit user!“
Kudos to the OP for this outfit, and we hope to see more players get creative, trying to recreate characters from Arcane. We’ll most definitely try to make Jinx using Ultimate Freyna’s long braid. Paint the town blue!
