Patches and updates are how developers keep the game fresh and fix various issues. Only recently we got a huge Update from Nexon, which addresses both the Invasion mission mechanics (making them a tad simpler) and the drop rates for Hailey research materials.
This update also fixed a lot of bugs, but unfortunately, you can’t fix them all in one go. That’s why Nexon applies small, maintenance-free Hotfixes that deal with some minor issues. We got a Hotfix on September 5 that fixed monster spawning during Invasions, and now, on September 6, we got another one that deals with an infamous Bunny problem.
Bunny Will No Longer Deal Unreasonable Amount of Damage
Bunny is a notorious character in The First Descendant. She started off as the first character that you unlock (not counting the starting one) and is famous for her ability to deal with hordes of enemies pretty fast. The problem is that some players love her speedrunning capabilities, while others hate her for it, calling her a no-brainer choice who ruins everyone’s fun.
Before today’s patch, Bunny had a bug that allowed her to deal an incredible amount of damage under specific conditions. But now, with the latest maintenance-free patch, that will no longer be possible. The exact wording is: “Fixed issue where abnormal damage could be applied by Bunny and Ultimate Bunny under certain conditions.”
Players Thankful
Even though it is a small change, players were aware that this bug was ruining things a little bit. “They patched bunny’s electric condense module bug where u could trigger it multiple times with repetitive input of a single key leading to gluttony nukes,” said hemishrp.
More players join in, with leadyvers saying: “surely nobody will have a terrible take about this bug being rightfully patched” and vjs_gdd2 adding: “Glad you guys caught the bunny bug, it would be bad if it was left untouched when Death stalker released.”
We all love it when we single-handedly wreck a big boss. But there is a difference if that is done with skill, is by exploiting a bug (just like the one we had with Kyle). TFD players still prefer a fair game.
