As we all know, the skins are the main selling point of the game. Nexon has really done a great job with character design, and with all the extra Skins you can purchase for them. Unfortunately, those extra Skins do cost quite a bit of money. To add insult to injury, there are Skins that multiple Descendants can wear but you must purchase them separately for each character. For example, Twisted Worship is an insanely popular Skin for the girls of TFD. But, you can’t purchase it once and then use it on all of them, you must get one for each female Descendant separately. That is all about to change as The First Descendant devs have announced that shared Skins are coming to the game.
Devs Revealed That Shared Skins Are Coming to The First Descendant
On a newly opened public Q&A on Discord, The First Descendant devs are answering various questions that the players are asking. Of course, the devs can’t keep up with all the community’s questions, but a few do get some attention.
A question that has been circling the community for a while now is whether we will have shared Skins in the future, without the need to purchase the same Skin multiple times. The same question was asked this morning on the new Dev Q&A, and we finally got an answer.
“We’ve received this feedback quite a bit, so we’re actively incorporating it. Starting from Season 2, shared outfits will be released in a way that multiple characters can wear them. We’ll share more details soon.”

Players Skeptical
While all of this sounds pretty good and looks like a step in the right direction, the fans are a bit skeptical. A lot of them are pessimistic, saying stuff like “I do not trust a word they say until it actually happened”. Others are afraid that shared Skins will cost more money, with some commenting “You can share them for only 9.99!” or “at least it being on paywall would be realistic coming from Nexon”. And nothing is said about the currently owned skins, as pointed out by inquizit0r: “Yeah well, what about the outfits currently owned? I doubt they are gonna do anything about that. It’s Nexon, it means more money for them.”
Hopefully, Nexon will not inflate the prices, knowing that the players are already miffed with all the steep costs in the game. They have been making a lot of good moves recently, so we are optimistic about this. The worst part is waiting for a whole month.
