The first official Season is almost upon us. In just two days (give or take) we’ll finally be seeing what the devs have been cooking for some time now, like Hailey’s gameplay and two controversial new features: Invasion missions and the Inversion Reinforcement system. Naturally, before the new Season begins, global server maintenance must be performed.
Exact Timeframe for Season 1 Update Released
Nexon has published the exact date and time when the servers will go down, in order to implement Season 1 content. The maintenance will last for six hours and, as expected, the game will be unavailable during that period. The exact date and time varies depending on the time zone, and those are as follows:
- PDT: Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 22:00h – Thursday, August 29, 2024, 04:00h
- EDT: Thursday, August 29, 2024, 01:00h – Thursday, August 29, 2024, 07:00h
- JST: Thursday, August 29, 2024, 14:00h – Thursday, August 29, 2024, 20:00h
- CEST: Thursday, August 29, 2024, 07:00h – Thursday, August 29, 2024, 13:00h
- AEST: Thursday, August 29, 2024, 15:00h – Thursday, August 29, 2024, 21:00h
The server maintenance will update The First Descendant to Season 1 and will also fix some of the game errors. Nexon announced more details are coming on August 28, when they will release the announcement for Version 1.1.0.
Pre-Season Content Will Leave the Shop
Everything related to Pre-Season will be leaving the in-game shop on August 28. Those include the popular Albion Academy Cadet and Classic Maid outfits, among others.
So this gives you one or two days (depending on your time zone) to wrap up the pre-season and take all the cosmetics that you wanted. As one player said, you can use the downtime to check out other games and then get back to Ingris on August 29. However, some last-minute discounts on Pre-Season cosmetics would be nice. One can hope.
