Progression Transfer is Coming to The First Descendant and The Devs Give Us a Timeframe

The First Descendant Bunny normal and ultimate version side by side

As it stands, the regular and Ultimate Descendants are practically separate characters. Because of this, players were reluctant to invest time and resources in a certain Descendant if there was an option to get the Ultimate version. Your effort with the regular Descendant goes to waste, in a way, when you unlock the Ultimate version of your character. This has led to many questions about whether the option to transfer progress from your normal to Ultimate Descendant will be added, and the developers said that such a feature is in the works. And now, the devs have given us a timeframe for when the progression transfer will be added to The First Descendant.

Timeframe Revealed – Progression Transfer to Be Added to The First Descendant Somewhere During the First Half of 2025

A couple of weeks ago, Nexon revealed that they plan to introduce a system for you to carry over your progress from your regular Descendant to their Ultimate version. That what your efforts will not go to waste, and you won’t be discouraged from unlocking the normal Descendant first. However, we only know that the new system is on the way, but not when. With all the upcoming improvements, the fans begin to wonder. Thankfully, the devs gave us a timeframe.

“…we’ve received a lot of feedback requesting a system to transfer progress from Normal Descendants to Ultimate Descendants. We’re working on implementing this and aim to introduce it in an update during the first half of 2025.”

The first half of 2025 is still a pretty wide timeframe (6 months, if we’re gonna nitpick). At least we know that it will not be implemented with the release of Season 2, on December 5. Another major broadcast is scheduled for the next weekend, so we may get some more info on this topic.
