The final major update of Season 1: Invasions is finally here. From October 10 TFD fans can enjoy all the new content, like the instantly popular ETA-0, Ultimate Freyna, Albion Halloween, and more. One of the most anticipated new features in the October 10 Update is the Hard mode for Infiltration Operations, the so-called “400% Infiltrations”. This is the “end game” content that players have been asking for, and let’s see what are the initial reactions.
Fans Seem to Love the Hard Infiltrations
The 400% Infiltrations are a couple of days old and fans everywhere praise them already. “This is by far the most fun game mode I’ve ever played in this game,” said Spork_Spoon_exe on Reddit. “Anyone that thinks it’s too difficult of a game mode needs to do a self-check before making statements on what “difficult content” is, or how hard this mode is. Bottom line, 400% dungeons is fun and please don’t nerf it.“
For the record, 13 Infiltration missions have received the “Hard” mode:
- Magister Lab and Slumber Valley in Kingston
- The Forgottense and Unknown Laboratory in Sterile Land
- The Shelter in Vespers
- Seed Vault and The Chapel in Echo Swamp
- The Asylum and Caligo Ossuary in Agna Desert
- Mystery’s End in White-night Gulch
- The Haven in Hagios
- Quarantine Zone and Heart of the Fortress in The Fortress
Note that an active Invasion will not prevent you from doing a Hard Infiltration.
Hard Infiltrations Are Fun
More and more players join in, with Dashwii saying: “400% operations make me never want to play Invasions again ngl. Just way more fun.” and xBlack_Heartx adding: “Just tried it and OH MAN IT’S SO FUN!!!, you get SO many weapons dropping, it’s amazing for farming weapon parts…It spawns a lot more elites, and the double boss fight at the end is really interesting…overall really fun mode, gives us that awesome feeling of wiping out mass packs of enemies which the game was sorely missing.”
The only “downside” to the whole thing is that the visual effects, with all the enemies and numbers, can be overwhelming for your platform and could be improved. “There’s so much on the screen I sometimes can’t even tell where the ground is,” said Nihil679, and “It’s very fun. They shouldn’t mess with anything. Just optimize it better so it runs smoother and we’re good,” added imFatz.
All in all, another great move by Nexon. The October 10 Update was really worth the wait, and we can’t wait to see what Season 2 will bring.
