Players Need a Lot of Gold for Various Upgrades
When you start playing TFD, you think that Gold is not that important. You get a ton of it and rarely spend any significant amount. But, as you keep playing, you realize you’ll need more Gold…a lot more. You need Gold to pay for research, weapon rerolls, and to upgrade your Modules.
It takes millions and millions of Gold to upgrade your Modules to the highest ranks, and players everywhere gave their ideas on the best ways to farm Gold. You can even purchase Gold Boosts from the shop in order to increase your Gold gains. But, with Season 1 underway, another effective method of farming Gold has appeared.
Invasion Missions Offer A Ton of Gold
Players mostly focus on getting those Hailey research parts when doing Invasion missions, so other rewards are usually overlooked. But, when you stop and take note of everything you got, you’ll realize your Gold supply has a significant increase. It turns out Invasion missions are a great way to get millions of Gold.
You can get around six million Gold per day, which is enough to get a Transcendent Module from Level 0 to Level 10 in one go. One player pointed this out in a Reddit thread, saying that there is a bright side to Invasion (besides all the hate they get). A lot more players jump to the opportunity to add their own takes, with hiddencamela saying: “The money is the sole reason I still do them. Who cares what grade I get. Gimme the gold!”. You get more comments like “it’s the best place to farm for gold” and “Yup. I feel so rich now. I love invasions!”
And the best part is, you don’t even have to go for the Gold tier rewards, the Silver tier will do just as well. “I remember first time I tried to Gold it, I gave up and just went with the silver, could not believe how much Gold I got. It’s great” said Bobberson913.
