It has been a while since the last meaningful update. The Nexon team had a break to celebrate the Chuseok holiday and had postponed all updates and hotfixes. They returned refreshed and ready to improve our TFD experience. On that note, a 1.1.3 Update is scheduled for tomorrow, September 26, but today, they gave us a preview of what to expect.
The First Descendant 1.1.3 Update Preview
On September 25, 10:43 GMT, Nexon posted on their The First Descendant official X page a post where they announced the 1.1.3 Update for Thursday, September 26. Furthermore, they listed some of the major changes that we will see.
“We will be changing Invasion to Public Operation, and adjusting some of the traps in Infiltration Operations. Additionally, skills for Freyna, Kyle, and Esiemo will be improved, and two new modules that enhance shield usability will be added. A new Cinematic Replay feature will allow you to enjoy your characters and customizations in high-quality visuals even after finishing main quests. We are also allowing each character to set spawn effect individually. Additonally, the Ultimate Bundles will be renewed with new cosmetics. Lastly, a new web event will begin, so please look forward to it!”
Does that mean that Invasions will finally be co-op? It looks like it. Next, we can see that some of the under-performing Descendants will get buffs. Shields have always been a side note, something you shouldn’t bother with most of the time, and now they will increase their usefulness to make it a more meaningful stat. That Cinematic Replay feature sounds awesome since TFD has one of the best visuals of today, so we can’t wait to see how it will work.
All of these updates sound great, and more will be revealed tomorrow when official patch notes are released.
