Nexon Just Revealed New Ultimate Weapons Coming to The First Descendant on March 13

The First Descendant Anais with four ultimate weapons coming in S2E2

The long-awaited S2E2 update is right around the corner, and the devs have been revealing little bits of info to tease the players. And now, Nexon revealed new Ultimate Weapons that are coming to The First Descendant with the upcoming update, on March 13.

When a new update hits, it usually comes with a pair of new Ultimate Weapons. Every Ultimate Weapon has a unique ability, and players have been finding ways to make the most out of them. The most popular weapon changes regularly as players find new and ingenious ways to use them. Or the devs tweak their abilities, so some weapons that were previously ignored become the next best thing. Now, with the next update, we’re about to get not two but four new Ultimate Weapons. And Nexon deemed it fit to show what they look like.

The First Descendant – Four New Ultimate Weapons Revealed

The next major update is almost upon us, and the fans have been asking for some more details. The only ones we got are the scheduled maintenance period and the changes to the in-game shop. But just now, on March 12, Nexon revealed the names and the design of four new Ultimate Weapons.

Unfortunately, they offered no more details besides the name and the design. But, from the looks of them, we can assume that A-TAMS will be a Sniper or a Scout Rifle, Ancient Knight an Assault Rifle, Truly Deadly Arson a Shotgun (almost guaranteed to have a Unique Ability focused on Fire damage), and Malevolent will be a Handgun or Hand Cannon.

Of course, this is merely an assumption. We expect that Nexon will reveal the full patch notes soon, at the latest when the maintenance begins. The players are already wary that these will be mediocre, as the new Ultimate Weapons usually are (with some exceptions; for example, EXCAVA proved to be pretty popular at one point). We hope that they are wrong and that these weapons shake up the current meta. Finally, we hope that grinding for these won’t be tedious.
