The devs realized that broadcasts and shorts work wonders in The First Descendant community and have announced that we’ll get to see more of them next weekend.

Last week we had the massive Season 2 announcement. There the devs spoke in great detail about everything coming our way in the next season of TFD. They revealed that Sharen is the next in line to get the Ultimate makeover, introduced two new Descendants, and talked about animal companions, new dungeons, and other features. The broadcast was successful, and now they are preparing another one.

Next Weekend We Will Get to See More Broadcasts and Shorts for The First Descendant

When the Season 2 announcement was over, the devs understood what the fans love. It looks like the live broadcasts are just what the community wants, so they are gearing up for some more. When asked when we will get some more Season 2 YouTube Previews, one of the devs answered:

“Yes, the second Season 2 broadcast is planned for next weekend~ The exact date and time will be announced next week. Please stay tuned!”

But that’s not all. The dev team noticed that using “shorts” (a video teaser lasting about 10 seconds, tops) to announce new Descendants was beyond effective. We can’t forget the community’s overwhelmingly positive reactions to Ultimate Freyna’s short. So with that in mind, TFD_PD_Lee posted:

“We’re currently working on the shorts video for Ultimate Sharen. I got a sneak peek, and it looked amazing! You’ll likely be able to see it around next weekend. Stay tuned!”

So, while we still don’t know the exact date, great stuff is surely coming next weekend (November 30 – December 1). The devs also said “weekend” the last time, for the Season 2 announcement, but it was broadcasted on Friday, November 15 (depending on the timezone), so chances are that Nexon will do the same thing all over again, and play the broadcast a bit earlier than anticipated. In any case, we are all looking forward to it.
