ETA-0 is the favorite new addition of the October 10 Update (after Ultimate Freyna, obviously). It is a new vendor that sets up shop in Albion every “long weekend” (Friday to Sunday), offering upgrades, Blueprints, and Paints in exchange for Vouchers, which you get either by selling your extra Blueprints or by completing Hard Infiltrations. He is situated in Albion, on the southwestern corner, near Anais, where the teleport zone is. ETA-0’s shop opens every Friday and closes every Sunday, giving players a limited time to visit his shop. We already saw what happens when he closes up shop, and now, in case you missed it, some dedicated The First Descendant players have stood by diligently, waiting for ETA-0 to open up shop.
Come One, Come All, and See How ETA-0 Opens His Shop in The First Descendant
We couldn’t see the official store opening the first time ETA-0 appeared in Albion (as the servers were down due to an update), but we can now. A dedicated player, named yoroshiku4649 on Reddit, shared a video on Monday, showing us what it looks like when ETA-0 closes his shop. Everyone loved it and players requested a video of ETA-0 opening the shop. And now, since it’s Friday, yoroshiku4649 delivered and shared a video showing us just that.
You can see the shop’s window opening, the side panels with weapons on display sliding into place, and the big robot powering up. And that’s it. Some players are a bit disappointed with the opening since the closing up was so cool, commenting: “Kinda anticlimactic ngl, but thanks”. Sure, you can’t have great expectations from this, but everyone was hoping for a bit more.
Still, ETA-0 remains everyone’s favorite Albion resident. As InjuryLong4708 said: “ETA showing up knowing damn well he’s everyone’s hero now”. Once again, a big shoutout to yoroshiku4649 for filming the shop’s opening and sharing it with the community.
