Just a day ago, Sony celebrated the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation. This console first appeared on December 3, 1994, and has been a gamer favorite ever since. Over time it became one of the most popular consoles ever, with the latest iteration, PS5 Pro, being arguably the best console out there, running games with stunning visuals, quality, and performance. And, on the PlayStation Partner Awards Japan/Asia 2024, Sony honored all the studios from Japan/Asia region who released their games on PS. One such game is our favorite The First Descendant. And, quite deserving, The First Descendant gets the Partner Award at the PlayStation Partner Awards Japan/Asia 2024.

Congratulations Are in Order

Unsurprisingly, the fans are excited for Nexon and are congratulating them on every social media. “The devs are amazing and super talented, you deserved it. Congrats!” said HaileyEira on X, and “Glad to see the TFD team receive any recognition, no matter how small. They always respond well to feedback from the community, and their most recent dev stream with an English translator was definitely fun to watch!” added inspyr_Dreamz on Reddit.

Nexon has really shown great dedication ever since the release of TFD. Their communication with the fans has immensely improved over time (no one can forget the massive 4-hour live broadcast, in both Korean and English), as well as their attention to the game itself. Hats off, you wonderful people.
