We just got a pretty big hotfix. We can finally play the Invasions in co-op, we got new Mods, character fixes, and a ton of QoL changes and bug fixes. But that is not all. Nexon revealed a “Daily login” reward system that fans have been requesting for a while now. It is titled “Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop” and the rewards it offers are awesome.
Logging In is Still Buggy
First things first, you have to log into the shop to be able to use it, unsurprisingly. Visit the official webpage and log in.
From our personal experience, we tried logging in using our Steam account with no luck. The “shop” did not register the login, so we had to create a Nexon account to get the Nexon ID. We linked our Steam account to Nexon and logged in without trouble. Moving on, the “shop” still had no data about our TFD progress, so we simply had to log into the game, log out, and refresh the shop. That was the last step and now Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop is available to us.
We are not the only ones who experienced trouble with logging in. Redditor JACHRiBARO had issues with different regions when trying to log in. “I think it’s an issue on their side since when I get redirected to a login page (sea instead of en) it’s saying an account created from a different region. Probably an issue to those who had an existing Nexon account on PC.”
This “shop” has been introduced today, so it is expected that some issues appear. We only hope that Nexon will look into this as soon as possible.
Earn Points…
In Freyna’s Encrypted Vault Shop, you get Points for completing Daily Missions and Weekly Missions. Those are:
Daily Missions (reset every day at 00:00 PDT)
- Mission 1 – Log in to Game for +1 Point
- Mission 2 – [Normal or Hard] Complete Mission 4 times for +1 Point
- Mission 3 – [Normal or Hard] Complete Infiltration Operation 2 times for +1 Point
- Mission 4 – [Normal or Hard] Complete Void Intercept Battle 1 time for +1 Point
- Mission 5 – Complete Research 1 time for +1 Point
Weekly Missions (added every week)
- Mission 1 – Log in to the Game 3 times during the event period for +10 points
- Mission 2 – Complete [Normal or Hard] Missions 1 time with Bunny or Ultimate Bunny for +10 points
It is worth noting that during the event period, you can even earn points by completing the previous week’s weekly missions.
…And Claim Awesome Rewards!
After you get some of those Points, you can exchange them for various rewards. The rewards have four categories: Support Materials, Weapon Materials, Boost/Gold/Kuiper Shards, and Code Analyzer & Code Breaker.
As you can see, there are some valuable items there. The best ones that we see are a Crystallization Catalyst for 40 Points and Weapon materials, for only 20 Points. On that note, you can get a free Polymer Syncytium, Synthetic Fiber, Nano Tube, or a Blueprint for 10 different Ultimate Weapons.
This Shop is one of the best additions to TFD ever. You are now rewarded for regularly playing the game and can bypass some of those boring grinds. If you manage to complete all Daily and Weekly Missions, you will end up with 55 Points per week (20 for two Weekly Missions, 35 for five days of Daily Missions). That means you can get a Catalyst for free per week and still have some Points left over. To balance it out, it looks like you can only take up to three Catalysts during this event. Some would argue that Nexon could’ve also added Energy Activators, but that would’ve been too much. Don’t look a gift horse (or event) in the mouth. But still, another great move by Nexon.
