It has been a while since the last Twitch Drops event for The First Descendant, but now, Nexon has just announced a fresh batch of rewards for June.
Twitch Drops are a popular feature that many companies use to engage fans with the game. Offering rewards simply for watching some streams is a surefire way to get more people involved with your game, and Nexon has been doing it with TFD since day one. However, Twitch Drops fell out of favour with The First Descendant community, mostly due to either repetitive rewards, or (most likely) due to the fact that the rewards were a bit bugged, ie, a large part of the playerbase did not receive their rewards when they should have. But now, the Twitch Drops are back for TFD.
The First Descendant Twitch Drops for June Announced
It’s been a while since the last Twitch Drops event for TFD. The last one ran from January to February 2025, and since then, Nexon has had more important matters to attend to. There were enough negative experiences when it comes to their Twitch rewards, so it was smart for them to “cut their losses” and focus on other matters. But now, about four months after the last event ended, they are having another go.
Running from Thursday, June 5 to Wednesday, July 2, 2025, fans can watch TFD streams and get some exclusive rewards. This time, the rewards are:
- Watch for 30 minutes to get “Twitch Color” Paint x2.
- Watch for 60 minutes to get the “Namaste” Emote.
- Watch for 90 minutes to get “Cold Grey” Makeup for Serena.
Nothing to write home about, but not too shabby either. The Twitch Color paints are a staple of these events, but the Emote looks pretty cool, and Serena players will definitely make use of the makeup.
The procedure is the same as always: don’t forget to link your Twitch account to your game account. Hopefully, Nexon has fixed the rewards by now, and everything will work as intended this time.
