‘This the season and the holidays are coming. We saw that Nexon is following the trends, with the whole Albion Halloween event followed by a small giveaway for Thanksgiving. And now Christmas is next in line. We’d like to point out that it’s pretty nice of Nexon to celebrate these predominantly Western holidays. They are aware of the fact that a massive part of their player base is from the “West”, and have even brought the best translator ever for their latest live broadcast, so it can be followed in English. In any case, Christmas is coming to The First Descendant and Nexon has announced a number of cool events. One of them even rewards you with a free Ultimate Bunny. Let’s see about that.
Christmas Events in The First Descendant
On the latest live broadcast, the dev team revealed that they have prepared some events for this holiday season which will go live in Season 2. And the best part is that one of those will reward you with Ultimate Bunny, simply for logging in. In case you already have her, you will get some awesome new Skins instead. Besides that one, there will be several minor events as well, so here’s all of them.
Festival Beginning Login Event
As the name suggests, this is the “welcome” event for the whole season. Simply by logging in between the Season 2 update (December 5) and the New Year (January 1), you will be rewarded with the “Festival Light” title. We have no more details about this, but we presume that these are both a prefix and a suffix, so you can mix and match with other titles (with hilarious results)
Descendant’s Year-end Celebration
Just like before, the Year-end Celebration event is running from December 5 until January 1. This one is all about weekly challenges. There are four weeks in this event and each one has a different challenge and a different reward.
- Week 1 (December 5 – December 11)
- Challenge: Complete 2 Infiltration Operations on any difficulty
- Reward: “Warm Cookie” Spray
- Week 2 (December 12 – December 18)
- Challenge: Own a Fellow
- Reward: “Gift Supply Cloak” Fellow Sin
- Week 3 (December 18 – December 25)
- Challenge: Complete 2 Void Intercept Battles on any difficulty
- Reward: “Merry Snowman” Back Attachment
- Week 4 (December 25 – January 1)
- Challenge: Complete 5 Research
- Reward: “Happy Dreams” Enzo Makeup
Winter Festival Attendance Check – Free Ultimate Bunny!!
The main event of the whole season. The “Winter Festival Attendance Check” will reward you for simply logging into the game. You just have to play the game between December 5 and January 15 for a number of days, and you will get rewards for each one. In other words, each day that you log into the game will grant you some rewards. If you log in on 14 different days (they don’t have to be consecutive) during that period, you will get the ultimate reward. So, here’s the list of all the rewards, based on the number of daily logins.
- Day 1 – Winter Festival Box
- Contents: 1 Energy Activator, 2 Crystallization Catalysts, Name Card “Midwinter Fairy”, Grappling Hook “Red Nose Sleigh”, Makeup “Suspicious Deer Camouflage (Hailey)”, 1 30% Descendant EXP Boost (7-Day), 10 Descendant Exchange Tokens, and 500 Descendant Growth Tokens.
- Day 2 – Ultimate Module “Mid-Air Maneuvering”
- Day 3 – 500 Descendant Growth Tokens
- Day 4 – 3 Winter’s Breath
- Contents: 1 Bright Gray, 1 Bright Matte Sky, and 1 Shiny Metal Gold
- Day 5 – 1 Enduring Legacy
- Day 6 – 500 Descendant Growth Tokens
- Day 7 – Standard Descendant Support Box
- Contents: 3 Hair Dyes (1 Basic Black, 1 Platinum, 1 Silver Shade), Makeup “Baby Deer (Valby)”, Chest Attachment “Baby Rudolph”, and Spray “Prankster”.
- Day 8 – Emote “Open Gift”
- Day 9 – 500 Descendant Growth Tokens
- Day 10 – 2 Special Synthetic Calcium
- Day 11 – 1 Greg’s Reversed Fate
- Day 12 – 3 Elf Festival Paints
- Contents: 1 Matte Grassy Green, 1 Matte Red, and 1 Sand Dust Beige.
- Day 13 – 500 Descendant Growth Tokens
- Day 14 – Special Descendant Support Box
- Contents: 10 Descendant Special Exchange Tokens and Spawn “Surprise Gift”.
A ton of valuable stuff in there. And you’re probably wondering what are all these tokens and where is Ultimate Bunny in all of this. That leads us to the fourth in-game event.
Anais’ Token Exchange Shop
The last in-game event is connected to the daily login one. It is where you exchange all the weird tokens that you got in the “Winter Festival Attendance” event. In total, if you logged in for 14 different days during the event, you will end up with 2500 Descendant Growth Tokens, 10 Descendant Exchange Tokens, and 10 Descendant Special Exchange Tokens. All of these tokens can be exchanged by visiting Anais, during the whole of Season 2. She’ll have two new options, besides the Research: Descendant Exchange Shop and Descendant Growth Shop.

Wow, these Christmas Events will make any The First Descendant player happy. And the decision to simply give away an Ultimate Descendant (one of the most popular ones, if we may add) is nothing short of shocking. Thankfully, all of these events are in-game, there are no external websites nor anything, which are known to cause trouble for some players.
