Fans have been asking for Skin discounts since the first days of the game. We’ve heard it a million times, one group asks for discounts, claiming that the prices are way too high for simple cosmetics, while another group defends Nexon, stating the fact that The First Descendant is a free-to-play game after all, and that devs have to make money somehow. However, we can’t deny the fact that some bundles can cost up to $100. Nexon recently had a couple of in-game events, and fans have used every opportunity to ask whether we’ll get some Skin discounts, and the answers were always negative, until now. The First Descendant Season 2 update is almost upon us and Nexon is offering some item and bundle discounts.
The First Descendant Season 2 Shop Will Feature Some Discounts, Finally
The new Season will go live very soon and Nexon already posted the patch notes. Amongst all the info, we noticed that the shop changes now have some discounts offered. We have the “regular” limited-time discounts on Bundles, and what seems to be a monthly discount for upgrade materials.

It looks like you can get an Activator and a Catalyst at a lower price, once a month. It could either be a pack of materials for you to craft them or a straight-up finished product. But since it has “Package” in the title, we think it will be the former.
At the moment, we don’t know how long these discounts will last. But the simple fact that we HAVE a discount is enough. As some fans noted: “HOLY MOLY there will be a limited Discount for the new skins” said xxMOHA, and “I’m so pumped because I thought they were implying there wouldn’t be discounts at all in the near future when they said there wouldn’t be discounts on BF. I hope they do paint discount packs eventually too!!” added simimaelian.
We hope this won’t be a one-time thing, and that Nexon will offer other discounts down the line.
