The current state of TFD is that only a couple of characters dominate the scene, namely Bunny and Fryena. Players have repeatedly complained that the two of them ruin the game for everyone else. Questions of “How is this fun for you?” have been raised time and time again. And on that note, some fans began to discuss which The First Descendant character is the most fun to play. The end result may come off as a shock.
“Which Character Is the Most Fun to Play” The First Descendant Fans are Wondering
We all enjoy melting masses of enemies in TFD, there is no doubt about it. That’s why Freyna and Bunny are currently the most “effective” characters in the game. But, “effective” doesen’t necessarily mean “fun” for everyone. We all have different aspects of the game that we enjoy. And, on that subject, a Redditor named Amazing-Egg-1996 asked the community: “From your own perspective what is the most fun you ever had playing descendant?”
Bunny? Freyna?
You’d expect tons of “meta” answers, saying Bunny or Freyna. And you’d even be right, as there are a lot of Bunny fans out there. That’s expected, as she’s the poster girl of the game. “Bunny. I just like zooming and zapping enemies. She also has great costumes like her evolving suit and I also loved her Descendant questline.” said iLikeCryo, and “Bunny, by far. Running around and wiping everything is great!” added rzrmaster. We also enjoy taking Bunny for a spin now and then, even though she’s a bit squishy for our taste.
We can’t ignore Freyna, as she’s the most-played character at the moment. And players still find her enjoyable to play. “Recently start building Ult Freyna, see how she obliterates everything in defence mission is very fun,” said Equacrafter, and “My favourite Freyna thing recently has been entertaining myself during the Kingston special ops by watching the vulgus get launched into orbit “ added Fr1endy.
Anyone Else?
However, there are a ton of people who claim that other Descendants are way better. A surprising number of people say that Esimo is the most fun to play. You get comments like “Esiemo. No other information needed”, “For FUN? Esiemo. No thoughts, just kaboom.”, and “Esiemo, explosives and gunpowder is addictive”.
Additionally, Valby also has a ton of good rep, with players saying she’s a surprisingly well-rounded character and fun to play. “She’s so much fun. I play her like a dodge tank so I may not do the most damage, but I do very good damage while also staying alive through almost everything.” said blueboxreddress, and “She’s one of the few descendants that I find myself using all of her abilities, all the time, all whilst firing my weapon.” added Fr1endy again.

And let’s not forget that some players enjoy playing Enzo, for that “sharing is caring” moment.
As you can see, it looks like TFD players will find something fun to do with every character in the game. User Atmic said it best: ”The fact there are so many different answers in this thread shows the developers made a very fun game.” Sure, not every character is great for every part of the game, and it is natural that some are stronger than others. But that does not mean that you can’t have some fun with every character in the game. It all boils down to your personal preference and what makes you happy. Enjoy your gaming, friends!
