Nexon has really been generous with events recently. We can still claim the rewards for Nexon’s 30th Anniversary website event, and with Season 2 and Christmas celebrations, we have a lot of new, in-game events (one of them even rewards you with a free Ultimate Bunny). But that is not all. To the dismay of the majority, there is another website event in The First Descendant, called Anais’ Winter Festival.
Claim More Awesome Rewards in Anais’ Winter Festival, a New Website Event for The First Descendant
With the arrival of Season 2, we have a bunch of new events added to the game, to celebrate both the new Season and the Winter holidays. One of those is the website-based event – “Anais’ Winter Festival”. Those website events are notorious for causing trouble to a large part of the player base, and that’s why the players are wary of them. But they are common in Asian games. Thankfully, Nexon also gave us a bunch of in-game events as well.
In any case, Anais’ Winter Festival is another great way to get some rewards simply by logging in. It began on December 5, 2024, with the Season 2 Update, and will last until January 15, 2025. During that time, you simply have to go to the official event website, log in, and claim your rewards. In the upper portion of the whole website, you will see four different tabs: Main, Designate a Festival Participant Descendant, Holiday Calendar, and Co-op Goals Event.
Main
Unsurprisingly, this is the first page you will see and is where you log into the event using your Nexon ID (or another method that you prefer). Nothing else for now.
Designate a Festival Participant Descendant
The second tab is a bit of a weird one. It gives you the choice of selecting Keelan or Bunny, and then selecting the Skin for them. Keelan has the Raley MK24 and Bunny can choose the Emergency Dispatch skin or the Winter Fairy. They both have the option to select the Planetary Projector Back Attachment.
What is the point of this? It is a mystery. For now, it only serves as a showcase for the new Skins. “This is what they say “Get a sneak peek by trying on specially selected Season 2 items!” So I’m guessing it’s just a weird way to display some of the new skins in the game, but we’ll have to wait and see if they say something about it,” said one player.
Holiday Calendar
Moving on to more sensible matters, the third tab is sort of an advent calendar, where you get a new reward each day, for the next 30 days. Simple as that! Furthermore, each time you manage to log in for five consecutive days, you will get a pack of Boosters.
Co-Op Goals Event
The final tab is perhaps the most interesting one. It is another event where you complete weekly tasks. But there is a bonus here. Your personal weekly tasks contribute to the “Co-Op Goals”, a score to which all TFD players contribute. Once that is reached, we all get a reward. For example, this week, Week 1, your personal goal is to play five Void Vessel missions. All of that contributes to this week’s Co-Op Goal – Play the Void Vessel [missions] 20,250 times. Sort of like the shared narrative Helldivers 2 has.
It is worth noting that we get the Weapon Tickets once more, seemingly usable for all Ultimate Weapons, apart from the new ones: Voltia and Hammer & Anvil. Finally, if we manage to complete all six of these Co-Op events, we will be rewarded with one Energy Activator and one “Snowman (Solo)” (we expect it is a spray, but no explanation is provided)
Even though these website events are not as popular as the regular, in-game ones, they do offer some awesome rewards. We just hope Nexon somehow fixes the login issues.
