The devs heard our pleas and made an effort to improve the Fellows. With the latest The First Descendant update, Auto-Dismantling got considerably better.
Fellows are the greatest additions to TFD, offering companionship and even some ways to help you out in the game. People have been asking for pets since Day 1, and Nexon delivered. Fellows come in the form of dogs (for now) but they are not just for show. They provide assistance in the form of picking up loot and auto-dismantling items. The latter sounds great “on paper”, but in practice, it turned out to be a bit lackluster. Players have asked for some improvements in that regard and Nexon delivered.
The Latest Season 2 Update Made Auto-Dismantling A Bit Better in The First Descendant
Before the second update of Season 2, Auto-Dismantling was a bit underwhelming. First, the players had issues with setting all the Filters correctly. Second, more important, is that the Auto-Dismantling wasn’t so automatic. Fellows do Dismantle items, but very slowly, making it a bit redundant. If you can open the inventory and dismantle them faster yourself, what’s the point? Especially with speedrunners, who pick up tons of loot in a short amount of time.
Thankfully, Nexon added some tweaks and improvements to the Auto-Dismantling mechanics. Now, after the January 16 Update, the Automatic Dismantling occurs more frequently, based on the level of your Fellow. The higher the Fellow’s level, the more often will Auto-Dismantling occur.
Fellow Level | Auto-Dismantling Cooldown |
1 – 4 | 180sec |
5 – 9 | 170sec |
10 – 14 | 160sec |
15 – 19 | 150sec |
20 – 24 | 140sec |
25 – 29 | 130sec |
30 | 120sec |
As you can see, the lowest level Fellows Dismantle items every three minutes, while the Level 30 Fellows improve that to two minutes, which should be enough for even the fastest Bunny players.
Hopefully, we’ll see more streamlined Filter options in the future, to make the Fellows even better.
