Albion is About to Get Spooky as Halloween Comes to The First Descendant

October is known as the “spooky month”, due to the fact that everyone is preparing for Halloween. On the other hand, on October 10, we will get the long-anticipated second update for Season 1. That update will release Ultimate Freyna, a powerful new Colossus, a new Ultimate weapon, the so-called “Hard” Invasions, and more. And let’s not forget the Halloween skins. But, that is not the only Halloween-themed novelty we’re getting.

Get Your Costumes Ready

On October 8, Nexon announced that in the upcoming major Update, Albion is going to get a spooky makeover. That’s right, our favorite home base will get all Halloween-themed. We will get spooky orange and purple lights everywhere as well as large glowing “Halloween” signs here and there.

And what’s a Halloween without some pumpkins? We’ll get a bunch of adorable and scary pumpkins scattered all over Albion, either larger ones on the floor or as hanging lights. And every Descendant will be greeted by glowing neon signs of ghosts and pumpkins as they teleport into Albion.

The fans are all about the Halloween-themed Albion, saying “I absolutely adore this!” and “Soooo gorgeous! I can’t wait for the update!” Others are more skeptical, like itstrilltime, saying: “We need an event not you to decorate the lobby.” But, they are not the only one asking for a themed event or at least some easter eggs. “I hope is a event where you can earn a free outfit for one of the descendants” said livyahh, and “There should be some halloween easter egg. Pick up the right pumpkin and get rewards style thing.” proposed R11PPER1.

Finally, some fans have gone a more philosophical route, like niconugget asking: “so is Albion and its planet simply a earth that evolved differently? how did the progression of halloween happened when there were barely enough people to form halloween itself as a concept.” 

All in all, Spooky Month and Halloween are a favorite time of year for gamers. The majority of online games do their best to prepare a bunch of spooky content, so here’s to hoping that Nexon will follow suit, with some events, easter eggs, and more.
