Do you need help with how to escape in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre Game? We have the answer for you here. This Texas Chain Saw Massacre game has all the trademarks of the TCM movie, leaving you in the middle of nowhere looking for shelter and a potential exit from this cannibalistic family.
Starting out as a victim in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre game can be daunting, especially when you’re being chased by three bloodthirsty family members. But don’t worry, there are four ways to escape the map, and these exit points apply to all map layouts including the Gas Station level, the Family house level, and the Slaughterhouse level.
Escaping the Basement
Before you can make a getaway in TCM, the first thing you need to do is escape the basement. There are multiple locked blue doors in the basement, and you will need to find an unlock tool to open them. Connie is one of the best Victims for the job, as she doesn’t need a tool to do this.
Once you have escaped the basement, Grandpa will be activated and the family members will be alerted to your escape attempt as you exit through the basement.
Main Exits in TCM
There are 4 main exits in TCM. These stay the same across all maps, including:
- The Pressure Valve Exit
- The Road Exit
- The Fusebox Exit
- The Rear Gate Exit
The Pressure Valve Exit
This exit is located on the outdoor part of the maps in TCM. To open it, you will need to find the valve handle and attach it to the pressure valve pump. Once the valve is open, the gate will open for a short period of time.
The Road Exit
This is the most obvious exit but also the most difficult to escape through. The family members will have electrified the cattle grid along the gate, so you will need to find the generator that is powering it and turn it off or risk electrification. If the Cattle grid is electrified you can follow the yellow cable leading away from the exit. This should lead you to a generator which is electrifying the grid.
The Fusebox Exit
This exit is located in the basement of the Family House. To open it, you will first need to find the fuse and place it in the fuse box. Once the fuse box is open, you will need to complete a small minigame to restore the power. The electronic equipment will have a green light when you complete it.
The minigame is fairly simple. You need to add the numbers on the row to equal the AMP value shown below it in corresponding pairs. For example, if the AMP value is 8, you could use the 5 and 3, or 7 and 1.
Once this fuse pairs minigame is completed, the power will be restored and the basement exit will open for a short period of time. As with the valve door exit, the door will shut if you take too long. Be quick and quiet on your way out.
The Rear Gate Exit
This rear exit is located in the rear area of the maps in TCM. The locked gate will need to be unlocked using a lockpick tool, and the family members may have electrified a cattle grid, blocking the escape route. You can disable the electricity by interacting with a car battery located nearby.
Tips for Escaping the Slaughter Family
Prioritize working together with other survivors when you play as a Victim in TCM. It is much easier to escape if you band together. Here are a few pointers.
- Use the environment to your advantage. Hide in closets, under beds, or behind objects to avoid family members. Just be sure you’re out of sight before concealing yourself.
- Be aware of your surroundings. The family members can hear you, so be careful not to make too much noise. Avoid bone traps, penned chickens, and such to keep quiet.
- Don’t give up. If you’re caught, this doesn’t mean you’ve lost. With bone scraps and Leland’s Life Saver ability, you can still fight back and escape. If you’re clever and resourceful, you’ll make a clean getaway.
If you try to use at least one extra step to stay off of the family radar, the hunters will have a harder time finding you and your escape from this house of horrors will be complete. We hope this has helped you to figure out how to escape in Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
