The newest installment of one of the most popular fighting games was released a week ago. It is playable on current-gen consoles, but is Tekken 8 on Xbox Game Pass? Read on and find out.
Tekken 8 is the latest installment of Bandai Namco’s popular franchise. It is the eighth canon release and is available on all current-gen consoles and PCs. It has everything one would expect from a Tekken game: a colorful cast of characters, awesome fighting styles, and interactive (and breakable) arenas. Tekken 8 was released at the end of January with different editions available for purchase, such as Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, Collectors Edition, etc. But, that said, is Tekken 8 on Xbox Game Pass?
Is Tekken 8 on Xbox Game Pass?
Sadly, no. At least at the time of writing, Tekken 8 is not on Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription service. In order to play this newest fighting game, you have to purchase it at full price. Games that are a part of Xbox Game Pass are usually available from day one. Tekken 8’s day one was a while ago, and there was no mention of Xbox Game Pass. But, Tekken 7 was on Game Pass, will Tekken 8 be there sometime in the future?
Will Tekken 8 be on the Game Pass in the Future?
There is no guarantee, but it is possible that Tekken 8 will be on Xbox Game Pass some time in the future. Tekken 7 was on Microsoft’s gaming subscription service for a while, but not from day one. It is quite possible that Tekken 8 will follow suit. For now, we have to be patient, until we get some new info on this subject. We will update this article accordingly.
