Where To Find The Hylian Shield In Tears Of The Kingdom

You can find the Hylian Shield at the Docks near the Hyrule Castle. If you have the paraglider unlocked, the task will be much easier for you to do, so we recommend getting it first. Though, if you don’t have the glider as of yet, you can use your Ultrahand ability to build a boat and get your way across to the Castle. After that, just follow the straightforward steps below to get the Hylian Shield:

  • Head to Lookout Landing.
  • Enter the Skyview tower and press examine on the launchpad to get airborne.
  • Now, skydive and glide towards the Hyrule Castle. You should be able to drop down to the first floor of the Castle.
  • Make your way to the back side of the Castle through the Sanctum and jump down to find the Docks.
  • Next, enter the cave to get to the old Docks.
  • Go to the stairs going upwards (beware since you might find enemies you might have to fight, or you could simply work your way around by luring them down the stairs and climbing the wall on the side to get back up onto the stairway)
  • Make your way to the unlit torch up top and light it up using the Fire Fruit or a flaming arrow.
  • When you’ve hit it successfully, a Chest will be revealed. Open it to claim your shield.
