There are 152 shrines in Tears of the Kingdom.
The number of shrines in Hyrule remains the same as in Breath of the Wild with 120. The difference comes from the sky islands, which contain 32 shrines of their own. The depths do not have any shrines to add.

The Shrines are spread evenly over the map, meaning that there is no specific direction players should go in first if they are aiming to complete as many Shrines as possible.
