The newest title from Rocksteady games, this one gives you control of Suicide Squad, going head-to-head against the famous goody-two-shoes group – the Justice League. This gives the player an entirely different perspective, as this time, you will play as the bad guy. With all that in mind, are the events of this game tied with the story of other Arkham series? Is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Canon to Arkham games?
To put it simply, it is. It is confirmed by the devs, stating: ”Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League features an original, narrative-driven experience that picks up the story five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. Players who are familiar with the Batman: Arkham series will see some related narrative elements pop up in the game“. Regrettably, some fans are not too happy about this. But, love it or hate it, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is officially part of the Arkhamverse.

What Do We Know About the Game So Far?
The events of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League are set five years after the events of Arkham Knight. The story, in short, is that Brainiac invaded the Earth and started brainwashing the population, including the famous Justice League. You as the player are in control of the Suicide Squad (also known as Task Force X), including Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark, on the mission to prevent Brainiac from taking over Metropolis and the world.
