It is practically impossible to finish the whole game in one take. Read on to see how to save your game progress in Stellar Blade and how to load it.
Stellar Blade is a newly released sci-fi action game, developed by Shift Up and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, and it is only playable on the PlayStation 5 console. You play as Eve on her mission to liberate planet Earth, which the Naytibas ruined and is now a wasteland. Naturally, that can be dangerous, so saving our progress is quite handy. This article will explain how to save and load your game progress in Stellar Blade.
Stellar Blade: How to Save Your Game Progress
Saving your progress is mandatory, like in every other adventure game. In Stellar Blade, there is only one way to manually save your progress and that is resting. So, to save your game, first, you have to find a Camp. If the camp is not already active, interact with the Vending Machine to activate it.
Now, look for the chair, usually near the fire. Approach the chair and a prompt to rest will appear. Press the prompted button (usually R2) and you will sit down. After a couple of seconds, Eve will heal (along with other Rest-effects, like respawning of enemies) and the “Loading” message will appear in the lower-left corner of your screen. Your progress is now saved.
How to Load Your Game in Stellar Blade
There is only one save file in Stellar Blade, so you cannot have separate saves. Whatever happened before the last “Saving” message is here to stay. But, if you want to return to where you last saved your game, you can do so through the game’s Settings menu.
Pause the game and head over to the Settings menu. From the Gameplay subsection, head on to the bottom where you will find the “Restart from Last Save” option. Select it and it will take you back to your last rest or autosave.
