RTX 5070 Ti & 5070 release date, pre order, and where to buy

A new generation of graphics cards has finally been announced. Nvidia’s long-awaited 50-series is almost here and one of the biggest eye-catchers in the family is the RTX 5070 & 5070 Ti. The RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 release in February, a week or two after the flagship and RTX 5080. DLSS 4 was the main takeaway from the CES keynote, highlighting as much as 2x performance over the previous generation. If independent benchmarks get close to these numbers, gamers are in for a treat if they can grab an RTX 5070 at MSRP.

RTX 5070 Ti & 5070 release date confirmed

Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 are set to follow the two high-end cards in February. While there is no specific day set, we expect to see the family lineup completed before mid-February. This release date schedule is far closer together than we are used to seeing, which is great for the masses who cannot afford the luxury of an RTX 5090.

While unconfirmed, the release time will no doubt be 9 am ET, 8 am CT, 6 am PT, 2 pm GMT. This is based on previous GPU and CPU launches across the board.

RTX 5070 Ti / 5070 pre order & price

The RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 are listed for $749 and $549 respectively. The 5070 will launch at $50 cheaper than its predecessor with similar performance to an RTX 4090 – impressive if true. We have seen pre order options for previous launches but Nvidia may cut these short to ensure customers don’t receive the cards early. This is speculative but if the launch is as popular as we expect, you may see pre orders go live once initial stock has dried up. Overclockers UK stated that pre order for the RTX 5070 and Ti models goes live in February, possibly indicating initial stock may be limited.

Some retailers are already listing the RTX 5070 ti and 5070 in the US and UK. Unfortunately, they are just placeholder pages so you cannot buy or pre-order them. As we mentioned earlier, Nvidia stated we can expect as much as 2x performance over predecessors but this was only with DLSS 4 enabled. We have no more data to share outside of this, however, early signs are promising.
