Is Rise of the Ronin Coming to Xbox?
No, Rise of the Ronin won’t be coming to Xbox Series X|S consoles this month. As it stands, the new title from Team Ninja is a PS5 exclusive, and Sony has stated that this will remain so in the foreseeable future.
With that being said, Team Ninja has released previous titles as PlayStation exclusives in the past, including Nioh. The title arrived on PC later on, which could mean that Rise of the Ronin will receive an extended release in the future. However, Nioh never made it to Xbox consoles, expanding solely to PC. Coupled with the longtime rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation, this could spell bad news for the next game in line.
Is Rise of the Ronin on Xbox Game Pass?
Without an Xbox release, Rise of the Ronin won’t be available to play through Xbox Game Pass. That said, there is a sliver of hope that PC gamers may see the game added to PC Game Pass somewhere down the line, given the title arrives on additional platforms post-launch. However, this remains unconfirmed at the time of writing.
