With that in mind, we can look at previous action RPG games from Team Ninja and make some predictions. This is how much time was needed to beat Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Nioh, and Nioh 2 according to the website How Long to Beat:
- Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s main story took 26 hours, the main + side quests took 35 hours, and the completionist run took 45 hours.
- Nioh’s main story needed 35 hours to finish, the main + side quests were 64 hours, and the completionist took 97 hours.
- Nioh 2 main story was around 45 hours long, the main + side quests were 72, and the completionist was 106 hours.
With this information, we can speculate that Rise of the Ronin’s main storyline will take around 40 hours to beat. Along with the side content, it will probably take players around 80 hours to do everything the game will offer. Lastly, it could take over 100 hours to fully complete everything there is to do in the game.
