How to Beat Undead Prisoner in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

The Undead Prisoner is a giant human, chained to a large stone pillar. Once you approach him, he will break off that pillar and use it as a weapon. The fight itself is quite simple when you get the hang of it.

The Undead Prisoner attacks with the stone pillar, and each hit will take out a lot of your health. The tricky part is that most of his attacks are unblockable. Unblockable attacks are represented by a red glow, and almost every attack that the Undead Prisoner makes is like that. Your best bet for defeating him is to make a couple of attacks, then when he’s preparing to crush you, slide to the other side, attack from behind, slide back, and repeat until defeated.

Spinning Attack

The last trick up Undead Prisoner’s sleeve is the spinning attack he does. He will start spinning with his pillar and slowly move towards you. Getting hit by that will take a chunk of your health. The best part of the spinning attack is that it is a Reckless attack, signified by a yellow glow. If you manage to time your parry correctly to his attack, you will perform a Vengeful Strike, dealing a lot of damage to him. But be warned, timing those parries against the Undead Prisoner can be a little tricky, due to the weird spinning nature of the attack. It can confuse you a little and you may press parry too early, so keep that in mind.

So, in short, always attack the Undead Prisoner from behind, and be ready to either parry or avoid his spinning attack. Do so and he will fall in no time.
