Ultimately, you’ll face off against your old friend Kieran, who has become the Champion since your Teal Mask journey. If you can manage to earn the title yourself, you’ll gain access to even more battle opportunities, including the ability to invite Special Coaches to the academy. Here’s how to unlock this feature in The Indigo Disk.

- Only one code for a Hisuian Zoroark can be used in either the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. Upon purchase of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, an email with your code will be sent to the email address registered to your Nintendo Account. From the in-game menu, go to the Poké Portal, then select Mystery Gift, select Get with Code/Password, and then enter your code.
- The Mystery Gift option can be found within the Poké Portal menu option in the X menu after you unlock the feature in the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. (This occurs after about 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay, though individual gameplay time may vary.) An internet connection and a Nintendo Account is required to redeem the item in game. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each item can only be redeemed once.
How to Unlock the Special Coaches in The Indigo Disk DLC
In order to invite Special Coaches to Blueberry Academy in the Indigo Disk DLC, you’ll first need to complete the main story. This means you’ll have to finish all four BB League trials and beat each member of the Elite Four, including the Champion, Kieran. But your journey doesn’t end there — once you claim the Champion title, you’ll quell the Terastallized Terapagos in Area Zero with the help of Kieran, Carmine, and Professor Briar. This will round out your new adventure.
After the credits roll, a handful of new missions will become available. One is initiated by Cyrano, who’s waiting for you in the League Club room at the academy. When you arrive here, he’ll give you all the details about inviting your friends from Paldea to the school for some battle practice. These Special Coaches include Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, and your teachers from Naranja or Uva Academy.

Inviting Friends from Paldea
If you’re looking to take on Gym Leaders and teachers from Paldea, you can invite them to Blueberry Academy for a doubles match. This is done by using the PC in the League Club room. You’re allowed two visitors at a time, so you’ll want to choose wisely.
Your reunion doesn’t end with battles, either. When you invite trainers from Paldea, you can earn some excellent rewards, from Herba Mystica to clothing items and Rotom phone cases. What’s more, you can even trade Pokémon with your favorite Gym Leaders. This is a great way to get to know the top trainers of Paldea.
