PlayStation 5 Pro will be released globally on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Sony even posted a list of games that will be enhanced specifically for it, to make the best use of everything the PS5 Pro has to offer. As the console’s release is getting closer, more and more games release patches to update their games for the PS5 Pro, with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth being the latest one. However, due to some retailers in Brazil having their own policies, a number of lucky Brazillian players already got their hands on PlayStation 5 Pro, and one of them was happy to share their first impressions with the community.

It looks like PS Direct is not supported in Brazil, and that players there have to resort to other retailers when looking for Sony’s products. The most popular one is KaBuM, and the majority of Brazillian PlayStation fans have ordered PS5 Pro from them. However, not being directly affiliated with Sony does have some perks, as PS5 Pro is already released in Brazil, days before the official release. “They shipped last Friday, some Brazilians even got it on Saturday, but mine was delivered Monday morning.“ said andersonfariasantos on Reddit, sharing their first impressions of the console.
Little-To-No Fan Noise
A couple of fans asked whether the PS5 Pro makes a lot of noise. The OP answered that it is absolutely quiet, even after hours of gaming. “I even used it without the cover and you can’t hear the fan noise. I played for around 6 hours non stop yesterday,” said the lucky player.
Even Games Without the PS5 Pro Patch Run Better
While it seems that the OP hasn’t gotten the chance to try out the PS5 Pro Enhanced games yet, they say that even the games that are not on the PS5 Pro Enhanced list are working like a charm. “One game that surprised me was Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth: even without a “patch” for the Pro, it’s running with max resolution and what feels like stable 60fps!“ They also add that Armored Core also runs like it is 60fps.
