Mafia is a long-standing franchise of action-adventure games, focusing on, you guessed it, the Mafia. They are open-world games, set in a fictional locale, but inspired by real-life locations and events. Every title has a different protagonist and the story always revolves around the Mafia in one way or the other. And now, the fifth installment is on the way. Titled Mafia: The Old Country, this one goes back in time to the 1900s and is set in Sicily. It is based on the origins of the Sicilian Mafia. Mafia: The Old Country was first announced at Gamescom 2024. The game will be playable on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. And now, a leaked trailer has revealed the release window for Mafia The Old Country.
Mafia The Old Country Release Window
We knew that the fifth Mafia would be released somewhere in 2025, but nothing more than that. But, on December 12, there leaked a very short trailer (probably just a part of a larger one, a snippet, if you will), showing some in-game footage. At the end of the trailer, we learn that Mafia: The Old Country is “coming Summer 2025”.
So, we can expect the game to be released most likely somewhere in July or August. While there are still no official system requirements, the fans believe that they will look something like this:
Minimum
- Memory: 8 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660
- CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K
- File Size: 50-80 GB
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit or higher
Recommended
- Memory: 16 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
- CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K
- File Size: 50-80 GB

The fans are mostly surprised about the fact that you will be able to ride horses, jokingly saying that this is Red Dead Redemption: Italian Edition. If it turns out to be anything like RDR2, then Mafia fans are in for a treat.
